Abbaye Saint-Roman

Beaucaire

In Veronique’s absence, Frank Dernoncourt has graciously stepped up to lead the Walking Club in and around the Saint-Roman abbey. The abbaye is located near Beaucaire on a hilltop, like an island in the woods, overlooking the garrigue and the Rhone river.

It is a 3-hour walk, which includes a 7€ 1 hour visit of the troglodytic compound. Keep your eyes open for the Flyer, to be published mid-April, for details and registration information.
