Our book will be ‘The Book of Guilt’ by Catherine Chidgey. It’s 1979 and three boys are the last residents of a home in the government’s Sycamore Scheme. But will they ever get to the place of their dreams, the big house in Margate? And is that really a place of sun, sea and fun fairs? There are dark secrets to discover in this exploration of a world where some lives matter more than others.
