The Alès book club will meet on Tuesday 17th March at 2:30 in its usual venue, L’atelier de Marie, Place Gabriel Péri, Alès
Our book will be ‘A Woman of no Importance’ by Sonia Purnell, which tells the Second World War story of Virginia Hall, an American who infiltrated Vichy command, training civilians in guérilla warfare and springing soldiers from Nazi prison camps. A superb true tale of espionage and courage and secrets.
