The Alès book club will meet on Tuesday 22nd September at 2:30 in its usual venue, L’atelier de Marie, Place Gabriel Péri, Alès.
Our book will be ‘The Artist’ by Lucy Steeds, an atmospheric novel set in 1920s Provence that takes you into the world of the fictional artist Édouard Tartuffe and his niece Sylvette. This is hopefully an enjoyable read as our summer moves into Autumn and we can sit back and appreciate the landscape of the South of France.
