Mas Carlot – Château Paul Blanc
Route de Redessan D3 Km3
30127 Bellegarde
On 23 January BritsVignes will be headed to Mas Carlot – Chateau Paul Blanc in Bellegarde, often called the “Clairette Capital of France,” as it was the first wine area given an AOC in 1949 for white wines made from the clairette grape.
Roman remains found near the Mas attest to its presence for over 2,000 years.
The current buildings date from the 17th century but were extensively remodeled in the 19th century by the de Grasset family. To learn more about Mas Carlot follow this link: (http://www.mascarlot.fr).
We plan to have lunch afterward, if you’d like to join us for lunch at Café de l’Union, please RSVP to the Flyer by 16 January so we can make the necessary reservations. To take a look at their menu offerings, please follow this link: (https://cafedelunion.fr).
The Flyer detailing this visit and registration information, will be issued very early in January. Hope to see you there.
